A Message from the Director
Dear Centre Stage Families,
What an incredible summer it has already been!
This past month, our Advanced Musical Theatre students brought RENT: School Edition to life in a production that reminded us all of the power of community, acceptance, and choosing love. More than just a musical, RENT challenged our performers to tell an honest story about friendship, compassion, and finding family in unexpected places. Watching these talented young artists grow together throughout the rehearsal process was truly inspiring, and we couldn’t be prouder of the heart, courage, and artistry they brought to the stage. Congratulations to every student, volunteer, musician, and staff member who helped make our inaugural Black Box Theatre production such a meaningful experience.
Now the spotlight turns to our amazing cast of 13: The Musical! With three fantastic casts preparing to perform, we can’t wait for you to meet the Jocks, Cheerleaders, and Geeks as they navigate the hilarious, awkward, and heartfelt journey of growing up. Each cast brings its own unique energy and personality, making every performance a special experience. We hope you’ll come cheer on these incredible young performers!
Later this month, we welcome more than 100 young actors to Honk! Jr., our youth summer camp production. This delightful retelling of The Ugly Duckling reminds us that what makes us different is often what makes us extraordinary. It’s a joyful celebration of kindness, belonging, and discovering that everyone has a unique purpose and place in the world—a message we love sharing with our youngest performers.
We’re also excited to announce that our Fall 2026 class schedule is now available! Registration is officially open at CentreStageInc.com. We look forward to welcoming both returning and new students this fall as we bring Beetlejuice Jr. to the stage and continue another exciting season of voice, acting, musical theatre, dance, pop/rock, show choir, and performance classes. Whether you’re joining us for your first class or your 20th production, there’s a place for everyone at Centre Stage. If you are interested in signing up for private voice, acting, piano or guitar lessons, reach out to Mrs Keely for available times and teachers.
As tickets become available, please wait until your child has been assigned to a cast before purchasing tickets, so you’re sure to attend the correct performance. Tickets are available at CentreStageInc.com.
If you or someone in your party requires wheelchair seating, please contact Stephanie or Ms. Keely before purchasing tickets. We are happy to reserve the appropriate accessible seating for guests who are unable to transfer from their wheelchair into a standard theater seat.

Fall classes begin August 16, and rehearsals for our fall musical, Beetlejuice Jr., begin August 21. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another exciting season of learning, performing, and making memories together!

Contact Mrs Keely if your child is interested in private vocal, acting, piano or guitar lessons this year.
Private Lessons are taken on a weekly or bi weekly plan and perform throughout the year in Cabarets and Centre Stage events. The assigned lesson times with Mrs Charisse, Mr Jacob, Mr Romel and Mr Gabe are listed on the first week of the Master Calendar for fall for easy viewing of what is available before the times are open enrollment on opus.
