CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
VOCAL PERFORMANCE ENSEMBLES
Centre Stage will strengthen student’s voices by introducing them to proper vocal technique, repertoire and musicality. Students will be taught to hold harmony along with solo work. Pieces include pop, Broadway, classical and chorale.
ACTING FOR THE STAGE & SCREEN
TASS & YASS (Teen Acting for the Stage and Screen / Youth Acting for the Stage and Screen) teaches monologue, scene work and character development, song and dance for the stage in a group class setting and acting for the camera scene work for TV and film.
PERFORMANCE WORKSHOPS & SUMMER CAMPS
One of the many things Centre Stage, Inc. offers are full-length Broadway musicals, junior summer camp musicals and cabarets. Students are required to audition for main stage musicals but not for junior summer camps.
PRIVATE VOCAL / PIANO / ACTING LESSONS
Centre Stage offers private vocal, instrumental & acting lessons for your student. We offer 30 minute lessons to hour long instruction. You may choose between monthly (4 lessons/month) and bi-weekly (2 lessons/month) lessons with your instructor.
